Our guest speaker, Dr. Grace Gamez, shared her personal journey on the registry. Her hard work and determination which led to her position as Founder and Director of ReFraming Justice at American Friends Service Committee – Arizona was inspirational to everyone. She offered hope to all of us despite the restrictions and challenges of being on the registry.

Thanks to the generous support and hard work of the inmates and staff at South Unit, Florence, AZRSOL received a donation of $18,417.78! It is heartwarming to see inmates spend their hard earned money in support of our organization. Perhaps this is just the start and other units will follow suit.

We were honored to have Dr. Richard Samuels speak at our Fearless meeting last night. Dr. Samuels’ career began in New Jersey working with human sexuality programs. He now focuses his practice on forensics. During his talk, he discussed the different measuring tests that are used for people on the registry to determine their recidivism risk.
